What if my bike has a Paravol label now that Paravol has become BicyCode?
If your bike is marked with a Paravol label, follow these steps:
Create an account on BicyCode using the same e-mail address as the one registered on Paravol. This will enable you to find all your bikes directly in your "Bike Garage" on BicyCode. Next, you'll need to validate the transfer of each bike from the Paravol operator to BicyCode.
Don't worry, your bike is still registered in the national file of identified cycles. A change of operator has no impact on this registration.
My bike's label is damaged. Can I still manage its status from my BicyCode account?
Bicycle identification techniques guarantee long-lasting, weather-resistant engraving. However, should the marking be altered, whether through wear or deliberate action, the bike and its owner remain registered in the Fichier National Unique des Cycles Identifiés (FNUCI), provided you have your bike's identification number. This number is essential for any updates or declarations concerning its status.
You can find this number on the identification certificate issued to you by the retailer at the time of purchase or marking.
